New Delhi: Renowned actor Anupam Kher, who has appeared in more than 500 films, has lately made headlines after posting his resume on LinkedIn. Famous for his iconic parts in films like ‘Saaransh’ and ‘The Kashmir Files’, Anupam Kher surprised fans and gave a look into his professional successes and personal philosophy. The actor said that he renews his resume every five years.


On September 24, Anupam Kher posted his resume on Instagram, saying, "After every five years I update my resume! Luckily, in my profession, there is no age limit. Hope you like my biodata!!! Jai Ho! #Resume #Optimism." Not only does his resume highlight his lengthy filmography, but it also highlights the perseverance and obstacles he has overcome over his forty-year career.


Anupam Kher reflected on his breakthrough role in ‘Saaransh’ (1984), in which he played a 65-year-old retired man at the tender age of 28, saying that the film had a profound impact on his outlook on life. 


Presenting himself as a struggling actor, Anupam went beyond simply stating his filmography in the resume. He said, "Landed in Mumbai with just 37 in my pocket and a head full of dreams. Juggled small roles while learning the art of patience and perseverance."


Anupam also mentioned, "My next role is always my favourite one."

Currently, Anupam Kher is occupied with filming ‘Tanvi The Great’, which is being produced by Anupam Kher Studio. He also has ‘Vijay 69’ in the works. Meanwhile, Anupam Kher will feature in the romantic comedy 'Metro In Dino'. Pankaj Tripathi, Sara Ali Khan, Fatima Sana Shaikh, Aditya Roy Kapoor, and Konkona Sen Sharma all play important parts in the film. The film will hit theatres on November 29th.
