Anupam Kher recently paid tribute to his late friend Satish Kaushik, who was quite impressed with Kangana Ranaut's direction abilities on the set of 'Emergency'.
New Delhi: Anupam Kher, who will star in ‘Emergency’ with Kangana Ranaut, recently paid tribute to his late colleague and friend Satish Kaushik. Satish Kaushik's untimely death devastated Anupam Kher and the entertainment world because of the strong relationship they had. The last time the two will share the screen is in ‘Emergency’, which is one of Kaushik's last films.
Anupam Kher recently spoke about an incident that happened on the set of ‘Emergency’ on Satish Kaushik's first day. He shared, “I had worked with Kangana before, and Satish ji's schedule was after mine. As actors, we often ask each other about the director—how they are, how they work. We usually decide on the first day whether we should listen to the director or not, and it was clear from the start that we should listen to Kangana. Satish ji called me after his first day of shooting and said that Kangana is an amazing director. Satish ji, coming from the National School of Drama himself and having done so many films, said she is mind-blowing.”
In a heartfelt tribute, Kangana Ranaut said that Satish Kaushik was one of the most kind people she had ever encountered. Reminiscing about his intense devotion to his profession, she cherished the way his eyes would sparkle with delight whenever he saw his sequences on film.
