New Delhi: Bhojpuri actress Amrita Pandey was discovered deceased in her Bihar residence on April 27. Prior to her demise, reports suggest she shared a cryptic message on her WhatsApp status, stating, "Do naav me savaar thi uski zindagi, humne apni naav duba ke uska safar aasaan kar diya (Their life was on two boats, we made their path easier by sinking our boat)."


Allegedly, Amrita's family disclosed her concerns about her career stagnation, leading to worries and battles with depression, according to a report in Times Of India.

In 2022, Amrita Pandey tied the knot with Chandramani Jhangad, an animation engineer residing in Mumbai originally from Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh. Her latest appearance was in the web series 'Pratishodh', and she previously collaborated with Bhojpuri superstar Khesari Lal Yadav in the film 'Deewanapan'.


 




Amrita Pandey, renowned for her contributions to the Bhojpuri film industry, grappled with mental health challenges prior to her tragic death. At 27, she faced disappointment due to a dearth of roles in both movies and television, causing her considerable distress. Despite her notable collaborations with acclaimed actor Khesari Lal Yadav in Bhojpuri cinema, Amrita showcased her versatility across various platforms, including Hindi movies, web-series, and TV shows. Her impactful presence extended beyond regional cinema, capturing audiences' hearts and foreshadowing a prosperous career trajectory.


Tragedy struck on April 27 when the Jogsar Police received reports of a woman's alleged suicide at the Divyadharma Apartment in Adampur Ship Ghat. Upon reaching the scene, they found the lifeless body of Amrita Pandey on the bed. Family members, as quoted by TOI, stated that her sister discovered her hanging from a noose around 3:30 pm. Immediate efforts were made to save her, and she was rushed to the nearest hospital, but unfortunately, she was pronounced dead upon arrival. The Jogsar police station is currently conducting an investigation into her death.
