Amitabh Bachchan Birthday: Actor Gets Warm Hug From Jaya Bachchan And Other Family Members; Greets Fans Outside Jalsa

Amitabh Bachchan could be seen standing on a high platform, not far from his residence gate, to greet his fans.

New Delhi: Amitabh Bachchan turned 81 and began his birthday celebrations with his fans. On Thursday night early, tonnes of his fans gathered in front of his Mumbai residence, Jalsa. The actor was seen in a few of photographs and videos posing for pictures with fans at the Jalsa gate. 

In a video posted by a paparazzo account, Amitabh could be seen standing on a high platform not far from his residence gate. The actor was wearing blue trousers and a pink and blue jacket. He greeted those who stood by and then folded his hands. Along with waving to his fans, the actor also smiled at them.

Aaradhya Bachchan and Navya Naveli Nanda, Amitabh's granddaughter, could be seen waiting at the home's entrance in the video. Actor Aishwarya Rai, his daughter-in-law, also joined them. She presumably called her actor husband Abhishek Bachchan on video call to show him how Amitabh's birthday was celebrated by fans.

As they celebrated the occasion with the actor, Amitabh's family members also posted photos to social media. Navya Naveli Nanda shared a photo on Instagram Stories. Amitabh was seen with his wife, Jaya Bachchan, and three of his grandchildren, Navya, Aaradhya, and Agastya Nanda. They all smiled and gave the actor a hug. 

Shweta Bachchan, Amitabh's daughter, posted a note to wish her father a happy birthday. She shared a photo collage of her hugging Amitabh on Instagram.

On teh work front, the next movie starring Amitabh Bachchan will be Project K, which also stars Deepika Padukone and Prabhas. He will also appear in the upcoming courtroom drama Section 84 directed by Ribhu Dasgupta.
