The Telugu actress suffers from myositis, an autoimmune disease that affects her muscles and causes her a lot of pain. As per a report by The Indian Express, the actor will return to acting after a year of treatment. According to the report, Samantha is going to the United States to get treatment for her disease, thus she won't be taking on any new projects for the next year. It also said that if her health improves, she might perhaps go back to work in six months. According to the latest update on her condition, she is doing well and has been advised to rest by her doctors.
