New Delhi: Alia Bhatt has finally shared photos from her charity event, Hope Gala, which happened on Thursday in London. The performer, dressed in a beige sari and blouse that matched, looked stunning as she performed for the crowd, talked on stage, and grinned for the cameras.

On Friday, Alia posted photos from the gala to her Instagram account with the following caption, “I had the great pleasure of hosting an evening that was truly special, brimming with so much love, purpose, and hope.”

Alia Bhatt sings Ikk Kudi

But out of all the photos and videos that were taken, the one that stands out the most is the one when singer Harshdeep Kaur approaches Alia in the audience during her performance.

She asks Alia to join her in singing ‘Ikk Kudi’, and she reluctantly agrees.

Alia sang a rendition of this Amit Trivedi song in the 2016 Abhishek Chaubey film ‘Udta Punjab’.

Hope Gala

With the goal of involving Mumbai's most vulnerable 'at-risk' children through after-school academies (skill building) and in-school programmes (leadership and advocacy), Alia hosted the Hope Gala in support of Salaam Bombay. These programmes help the children develop their confidence, self-esteem, and commitment to staying in school.

Prolific industrialists and philanthropists from London and India attended the gala.
