New Delhi: Alia Bhatt has once again stolen the spotlight after the teaser release of her upcoming action-drama 'Jigra'. Bhatt has been receiving appreciation from fans and colleagues alike. However, it seems that soon after the teaser release on Sunday, a fan war apparently broke out on social media platform X, where Shraddha Kapoor's fans called her the 'biggest Bollywood actor' while Bhatt's fans defended her as the reigning queen.

Meanwhile, it seems when things went a little too far, the two actors put up a friendly front, by lauding each other and putting an end to the debate. Shradda shared the Jigra teaser on her official Instagram Stories with a caption that read, "Ye toh theatre mein bhai ke saath dekhna hai,Kamaal ladki hai Alia Bhatt, kya amazing trailer hai Vasan Bala,"( I will have to watch this in the theatre with my brother. Alia Bhatt is marvelous. Vasan Bala, the trailer is amazing) she added while resharing the trailer on Instagram.
Alia also responded to Shraddha's post by thanking 'the blockbuster Stree'.
After Jigra's teaser released, Alia's fans hailed her as the 'real female superstar of Bollywood', a label that was being used for Shraddha Kapoor after the success of her recent film 'Stree 2'.
However, the tide changed with Jigra's teaser release and Alia's fans almost becoming aggressive to the point of proving how she deserves the said moniker.
A person wrote, "Doing a 20-30 minute role in a multi-starrer film is not female centric. This is what female centric actually looks like,” almost taking a dig at Rakummar Rao, Pankaj Tripathi and Shraddha Kapoor starrer 'Stree 2'. Shraddha Kapoor had a short but important role in the film.
A user wrote, “Acting of Alia in two-min teaser>> Shraddha in that whole overhyped movie.” Another tweet read, “Bye bye Shraddha Kapoor, bye bye Stree 2, Alia Bhatt will smash corporate lady star Shraddha Kapoor without any sequel hype, cameos by Akshay Kumar, Varun Dhawan, Maddock Universe.”
Meanwhile, 'Jigra' director Vasan Bala also apologised to Shradda's fans on Instagram.

Stree credit-war
Shraddha Kapoor was also caught amid a 'credit war' with Stree co-star Rajkummar Rao. Several social media posts credited either of the two stars for the success of the movie, which many thought was more a PR move than an actual case.
Even co-stars Aparshakti Khurana, Abhishek Banerjee and director Amar Kaushik also commented on it.
Meanwhile, 'Jigra' tells the story of Satya, who turns the world upside down to save her brother. It appears to be a jail break movie.
'Jigra' has been produced by Karan Johar's Dharma productions and has been written-directed by Vasan Bala.
