New Delhi: Bollywood celebs are a target of videos that have been deepfaked. Most recently, Alia Bhatt became a taget of a deepfake video when an Instagram user, Unfixface, shared a video in which Alia Bhatt's face replaces that of Wamiqa Gabbi in a post. 


In the video, Bhatt is seen in a red saree with a matching blouse. The video was shared with the caption that read, "Aliabhatt off screen." Soon after the video was shared, a person asked, "Is this legal?? You are using Alia's face." Another said, "This is the actual video of Wamiqa Gabi. They replaced it with Alia's face using AI."


 






Meanwhile, the original video belongs to and stars 'Khufiya' actor Wamiqa Gabbi. Wamiqa had shared the video with a caption that said, "Your Premiqa is indeed a Chamkila fan." She also added Amar Singh Chamkila's song Pehle Lalkare Naal Main Dar Gai in the backdrop.

Wamiqa Gabbi will next be seen with Varun Dhawan in 'Baby John'. The film is directed by Tamil filmmaker Kalees and also stars Keerthy Suresh. 'Baby John' release date has been delayed from May 31 to a yet to be announced date. As per ANI, the production team of 'Baby John' will be announcing the new release date soon and a premiere will happen sometime in June or July 2024.


Wamiqa has also been a part of films like 'Kali Jotta', 'Khufiya' and '83.

Meanwhile, Alia Bhatt will be seen in Vasan Bala's 'Jigra' which she is also co-producing with Karan Johar. The film is all set to be released in theatres on September 27, 2024.  Alia is also all set to lead a Spy Universe film, which will go on floors later this year.
