New Delhi: Akshay Kumar’s spokesperson has denied that he helped Sunny Deol pay off his loan. According to a recent report, the OMG 2 star has stepped forward to help Deol with his loan repayment in order to save his Juhu property. By stating that the claims are "absolutely untrue," Akshay's representative is now clearing the air.

Sunny's Juhu mansion in Mumbai was reportedly put up for auction by the Bank of Baroda (BoB) on Sunday after the actor allegedly failed on a Rs 56 crore loan. BoB retracted the notification on Monday, claiming "technical reasons". Akshay allegedly offered to settle a "huge chunk" of Sunny's loan shortly after the news broke, according to Bollywood Hungama.

According to the report's sources, Akshay will pay Sunny's loan a total of between 30 to 40 crores. “As part of the deal, Sunny Deol will then repay the loan to Akshay Kumar in a stipulated time,” read the report.

Although it was previously speculated that Sunny Deol would be starring in 'Border 2', the actor has now made it clear that he has not committed to any new roles. He is currently basking in the glory of 'Gadar 2', which would likely gross more than Rs 350 crore nett in India. The second week's earnings for 'Gadar 2' have been exceptional as well. And as of right now, the movie has racked up the greatest second-weekend take in Bollywood history. The movie earned Rs 90.47 crore in three days over the second weekend, from Friday to Sunday. This record was held for a long time by Prabhas. With a second weekend total of Rs 80.75 crore, the actor's Baahubali 2 made records in India.

On the other hand, Akshay Kumar's 'Oh My God 2' (OMG 2) has performed well at the domestic box office despite facing stiff competition from Sunny Deol starrer 'Gadar 2'. The movie, which was released on August 11, stars Yami Gautam, Pankaj Tripathi, and Akshay Kumar.
