New Delhi: Akshay Kumar and Raveena Tandon were a thing back in the day. The two were in a relationship decades back. Akshay and Raveena were even engaged at one point of time however, they later parted ways. After some discord, the two settled down with their respective spouses and became cordial to each other. The two are friends now. Raveena had even called Akshay Kumar as 'one of the strongest pillars' of Bollywood. Now, it seems that their fans have a reason to rejoice as the two might be seen together in a movie.
As per a recent Filmfare report, Akshay and Raveena can reunite in 'Welcome 3'.The third installment of 'Welcome' has been titled 'Welcome To The Jungle'.
Along with Akshay Kumar, 'Welcome To The Jungle' will also star Sanjay Dutt, Arshad Warsi, Disha Patani, Suniel Shetty and Jacqueline Fernandez in the lead. However, no official confirmation about the cast has come from the production house.
A few months back, Raveena Tandon opened up on her iconic track 'Tip Tip Barsa Paani' from 'Mohra' in which she starred alongside Akshay Kumar.
Raveena had revealed in an interaction that the sensual songs like these had nothing overtly sensual in them . She had spoken about the difference in in-your-face sexuality and sensuality. The actor was very clear to the makers that her saree won't come off, there won't be any kissing and what could not happen at any cost.
Eventually, the makers came up with 'Tip Tip' which was a correct balance of sensuality, Raveena had then revealed.
Recently, Raveena Tandon won a Padma Shri for her contribution to Indian cinema and dedicated the award to her father.
On the other hand, Akshay Kumar was most recently seen in ‘OMG 2’, the second installment to ‘Oh My God’.
‘OMG 2’ released alongside ‘Gadar 2’. Both films have managed to collect great numbers at the box office.
