New Delhi: Aditya Roy Kapur is perhaps the most dashing man working in Bollywood today. His excellent looks are frequently mentioned with his lauded acting abilities. His most recent appearance was in the Anil Kapoor–starring 'The Night Manager'. Now, he has shared his feelings about being objectified. He also told stories about his early days in the industry and other personal experiences.
Aditya Roy Kapur was recently questioned about his feelings of objectification by Film Companion. In response, the actor simply answered, "No objection taken at all." Instead, he shrugs it off since he sees it as routine for an actor.
Aditya said, "I started off as a VJ with Channel V and I was well into being objectified. My first promo introducing VJ Aditya was me taking my shirt off at Agonda Beach in Goa. So that has been happening since the start of my career."
The actor elaborated, saying, “I mean it’s a part of it. It’s a visual medium and if one can tick that box then it’s a good thing.”
Aditya said he's not constantly on a diet and eats whatever he wants, but when he's getting ready for a role, he makes sure he's working towards the physique that's needed for the character.
Most recently, Aditya Roy Kapur co-starred with Anil Kapoor in the Disney Plus Hotstar series 'The Night Manager season 2'. Fans of the show are hoping for a second season after its successful debut.
Meanwhile, he'll be co-starring with Sara Ali Khan in 'Metro In Dino'. Anurag Basu is the film's director.
In terms of his private life, reports that Aditya is dating Bollywood actress Ananya Panday have been a constant source of media attention.
