New Delhi: Hina Khan is all set to return to the Cannes Film Festival after making her debut on the red carpet in 2019. Hina had earlier attended the festival for the poster launch of Hussein Khans' film 'Lines'.

The actress will walk the red carpet for the poster launch of her upcoming Indo-English film, 'Country of Blind'.

"Hina's Indo English film 'Country of Blind' is all set for a poster launch at the Cannes Film Festival and hence Hina will be seen again at the Cannes Red Carpet. She walked not once but twice at the red carpet and was appreciated for both her looks which were so different from each other. Many celebrities and the entire industry cheered for Hina's journey and her hard work as she represented India at the biggest film festival worldwide," sources close to the development told TOI.

Hina's debut look at the Cannes was appreciated by fans and people from across the industry. Just a reminder for those who cannot recall, Hina wore a silvery gray gown with long open sleeves at the 2019 Cannes Film Festival.

In an interview to a leading publication, Hina Khan had earlier spoked about the overwhelming response and attention she had received at the Cannes in 2019 from the international media.

Hina Khan rose to fame with her role of Akshara in ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’; a character she portrayed successfully for 8 years after which she decided to pursue other projects.

Meanwhile, Deepika Padukone has already left for the Cannes Film Festival which will take place from May 17 to May 28th. The actress is part of the coveted jury at the reputed film festival.
