New Delhi: The much-anticipated film Brahmastra, starring Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt, was finally released on September 9. It was produced on a massive scale, at a budget of over Rs. 300 crores. The movie had a very successful opening day at the box office, raking in a total of Rs 75 crore at the end of the first day of its release. The preliminary figures for Day 2 have been released, and it seems that Brahmastra is on track to cross the Rs 100 crore milestone in the coming weeks.
Brahmastra features Nagarjuna, Mouni Roy and Amitabh Bachchan along with Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt, and it has a promising start at the box office. Following its first worldwide revenue of Rs 75 crore on Day 1, early projections see it earning another Rs 39 crore on Day 2. If the box office totals from both days are added together, the film might break the Rs 100 crore mark by the end of its second weekend.

A trade expert named Ramesh Bala tweeted, “#Brahmastra Hindi Day 2 Early estimates for All-India Nett around ₹ 39 Crs.. Huge..” The Tamil Nadu box office for the film also saw an increase in earnings.
The production of "Brahmastra Part One: Shiva" reportedly cost more than 400 crore, making it one of the most costly Indian movies ever made.
Given the current boycott trend surrounding the film and the recent spate of big-hero flops at the box office, 'Brahmastra' has received the faith of many in Bollywood with its stellar performance. The hopes are definitely higher now, considering its opening day number.
