New Delhi: Sushant Singh Rajput’s fans are furious with the E-commerce company Flipkart for listing a t-shirt on their website which has the late actor’s photo with a quote on depression. The T-shirt has a photo of SSR with a quote that reads, “Depression like drowning".

As soon as the t-shirt was spotted by one of his fans and the image was posted on Twitter, it went viral and Boycott Flipkart started trending. Many users commented and filed grievances at Flipkart.

"Dragging a dead soul n labelling the specific pic as 'Depression'! What kind of cheap marketing is this?" Wrote a fan. Another Twitter user wrote, "Country has not yet come out of the shock of Sushant's tragic death. We will keep raising our voice for justice. Flipkart should be ashamed of this heinous act and should apologize that such an incident will not be repeated again.#BoycottFlipkart"

"Soulless creatures trying to mint money at other person's suffering.. Disgusting @Flipkart @flipkartsupport Can you remove this hurtful product from your platform. #BoycottFlipkart ," tweeted another user.

One user even served a notice against the online shopping platform for selling T-shirts with a misleading quote. “I will serve notice to @Flipkart tonight (for approving a material which is defaming a deceased) as a common & responsible citizen," the user tweeted.

Sushant’s college friend Vishad Dubey, who keeps on posting various anecdotes with Sushant, also took to Instagram and expressed his views on the same. He wrote, “Why I hold Him in high regard is because He was able to achieve almost all His teenage dreams even though it looked highly improbable. The responsibility of maintaining His Legacy , thus , lies on our (individuals whose life He has touched knowingly/unknowingnly) shoulders. What is appalling is to see someone trying to profit on unsubstantiated claims and rumors , instead of , if irresistible, on all His achievements. Sad is a state of affairs that we as humans choose to dwell in. @flipkart - Not Done 😡 #SushantSinghRajput - Was , is and always will be an Inspiration , who , atleast to me taught, NEVER TO DROWN IN ANY NEGATIVITY 🙏💥”

Sushant Singh Rajput was found dead at his apartment in Mumbai on 14 June 2020.
