This year's Costume Institute exhibition, 'Karl Lagerfeld: A Line of Beauty', will celebrate the full work and life of Karl Lagerfeld. As fans trend the grand fashion extravaganza on social media, their biggest cause of disappointment is the news that actor Blake Lively will not be attending.
Despite being in New York, Blake confirmed that she will be skipping the Met Gala on Monday. The star told People that she will be watching the event. Blake was at the reopening of the Tiffany & Co. Fifth Avenue store in NYC on Thursday when she confirmed this.
At the same Tiffany event, when reporters complimented Blake's 2022 Met Gala look, she joked, "Thank you, that’s very sweet. I’ll be wearing that on my couch on Monday.
