Actress Deepika Padukone turned 36 years old today. The Bollywood diva was born in Copenhagen, Denmark to veteran badminton player Prakash Padukone and Ujjala Padukone and had a dream debut opposite in Hindi cinema with ‘Om Shanti Om’ in the year 2007.
Padukone, who is married to Ranveer Singh, had a private wedding in Lake Como, Italy back in 2018. It did not come as a surprise to the fans who stan the couple as they were pretty bad at hiding their relationship. The couple came together for the first time for Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela’. They rightly credit Bhansali for being their wingman.
Even though Ranveer and Deepika failed miserably at hiding their relationship from the public eyes, there was something that they kept a secret that no one knew about until after their wedding. Deepika Padukone had once revealed that she got engaged to Ranveer secretly 4 years before their wedding and no one knew about this except for their parents and sisters- Anisha Padukone and Ritika Bhavnani.
The couple did not leave any stone unturned to celebrate their love during their wedding. After having two intimate wedding ceremonies (Anand Karaj and South-Indian style) in Lake Come, they came back to India and threw numerous extravagant receptions. During this period, when fans were loving the new pictures from the varios functions, memers did not miss the opportunity either.
On New Year’s Day, Singh shared a quirky video of his wife on Instagram where Deepika is being her hilarious self.

The couple was recently seen together as an on-screen couple in ‘83’; Padukone was also one of the producers for this film.
