Hyderabad: The most awaited season of the Telugu reality show, Bigg Boss 5 is all set to hit the small screen on September 5, 2021. The highly expected fifth season will premiere on September 5, Sunday at 6 pm.


Confirming the launch date, Star Maa, tweeted, “Time to end the boredom. #BiggBossTelugu5 starting September 5th at 6 PM on #StarMaa.”


The entertainment channel shared a short video clip on Twitter featuring Nagarjuna Akkineni, in which the Telugu superstar iterates in Telugu, "Chepandi boredom ki goodbye vachestundi Big Boss season 5”, meaning, say goodbye to boredom with Bigg Boss season 5".




Actor Nagarjuna Akkineni will be taking the host seat fifth season as well. This is the third season that he will be hosting Bigg Boss after Telugu stars, Jr NTR and Nani hosted the first two seasons, respectively.


According to the reports, the launch fifth season was delayed due to Covid -19 pandemic and now is all set to hit the small screen in the first week of September. As usual, the regular episodes of the reality show will be aired from Monday to Friday at 10:00 pm and on Saturday and Sunday at 9 pm.


Actors Siva Balaji, Kaushal Manda, Abijeet Duddala, and singer Rahul Sipligunj have been the winners of the first four seasons.

Popular names to enter the Bigg Boss Telugu 5 are, Anchor Ravi, Anchor Lobo, Artist Priya, Maanas, Sarayu Suman, Anee Master, Jabardasth Varshini, Shanmukh Jaswanth, Lahari Shari, Navya Swamy, RJ Kajal Jabardasth Varsha, VJ Sunny. Besides, the latest report suggests that Sarileru Neekevvaru fame Kumanan Sethumaran will also be part of the show.
