‘Bigg Boss 14’: Kumar Sanu REACTS To Rahul Vaidya's 'Nepotism' Remark; Reveals He Didn’t Want Son Jaan To Enter 'BB 14' House

Jaan has found himself embroiled in a lot of controversies during his stint. One of them was the altercation where Rahul Vaidya tagged him as a product of ‘nepotism’. Jaan Kumar Sanu, whose real name stands Jayesh Bhattacharya recently opened up about Rahul Vaidya’s comment on nepotism. While speaking to TOI, he said, “Rahul Vaidya is the smartest of the whole lot! But it was quite silly of him to start a fight with me on nepotism because everyone knows that I am not a product of nepotism. I guess he did not have any reason to nominate me, so without any concrete reason, he called me a ‘nepo-kid’. To be honest, I am hearing this term for the first time in my life. But Rahul is quite shrewd and knows how to play the game. He will last long on the show.”

Jaan also spoke about his relationship with his father and revealed that Kumar Sanu has never been a part of his life. He further said that all the three brothers had been single-handedly raised by his mother and Kumar Sanu has never supported or promoted him as a singer. Jaan told the publication, “My father Kumar Sanu refused to keep in touch with us. Initially, he had uploaded a video on social media regarding my upbringing, and then there was another one supporting my work, so, I believe he has mixed feelings for me. I have not seen these videos. I don't think anyone has the right to raise questions about my upbringing because everyone has seen me in the show and appreciated my upbringing. And I feel I am not answerable to anyone on this. Also, it is not right for a father to continue having resentment towards his children for such a long time. You might have differences with your partner, but most couples have seen to it that the children do not suffer. That’s why I find it quite silly when people say I am a product of nepotism. I have created my own path and will continue to do so in the future.”

Other than Jaan Kumar Sanu, Rubina Dilaik, Jasmin Bhasin, Eijaz Khan, Nikki Tamboli and Kavita Kaushik were the nominated contestants this week.
