New Delhi: Friends, fans and many members of the entertainment fraternity are still mourning the passing away of TV heartthrob Sidharth Shukla. The actor’s untimely death seems to have shaken former Bigg Boss contestant Jasleen Matharu so severely that she has landed in hospital.

The 'Bigg Boss 13' winner Sidharth Shukla died on September 2 after a cardiac arrest. He was only 40, and his death came as a shock to many who admired him and loved him dearly.

Earlier, it was reported that a fan of Sidharth slipped into a partial coma on hearing the news of his passing, and now model-actress and Bigg Boss 12 contestant Jasleen Matharu is in hospital. She felt unwell after she came back from paying her last respects to Sidharth on the day of his funeral.

Jasleen had met Sidharth's bereaved family and rumoured girlfriend Shehnaaz Gill that took a toll on her, leading to the deterioration of her health. She fell ill after that, and had to be admitted to hospital.

The singer-actress has now taken to Instagram to share a video of herself lying on a hospital bed with IV drip fixed on her arms.

In her IGTV video, Jasleen can be heard saying, "That day when Sidharth had died and when I went to his family's house. After listening to the news and looking at the atmosphere in their house, meeting Shehnaaz and aunty (Sidharth's mother), when I came home, I read messages such as 'Tum bhi mar jao'. This was the first time in my life I was so affected by such messages." "I thought to myself - how unpredictable is life, everything feels so strange. I don't know what happened but I had a temperature (103 degrees) yesterday and I had to be hospitalised. Take care of yourself and pray that I, too, get well soon," she concluded.

In an earlier video, Jasleen had spoken about working with Sidharth Shukla in the series Mujhse Shaadi Karoge and described him as 'calm and composed'.

Meanwhile on Monday, a prayer meeting was conducted virtually from the late actor's family home in Mumbai, led by the Brahmakumaris. Sidharth, who was quite spiritually inclined, was a follower of the religious organisation.
