New Delhi: ALTBalaji and ZEE5 won the OTT space with their recently released ‘Dark 7 White’ and ‘Bicchoo Ka Khel’ thrillers. Both shows are performing well in terms of numbers and have received a lot of appreciation and love from fans across the country. It seems that the genre of crime thrillers undoubtedly keeps viewers in the limelight as ‘Dark 7 White’ and ‘Bicchoo Ka Khel’ make their way into the list of most-watched Hindi shows and movies.

According to Ormax India, a specialised media consulting firm, the Divyenndu and Sumeet Vyas starrer shows are amongst the top 5 most viewed shows of the week. Ormax India tracks the viewership figures of the top releases across major platforms and the numbers are all based only within the country.

‘Dark 7 White’ garnered 1.9 Million views during the week of November 23, 2020 – November 29, 2020, while ‘Bichhoo Ka Khel’ garnered 2.5 Million views.

‘Dark 7 White’ is an urban political genocide mystery aimed at young people. Shot in Rajasthan and narrated in a humorous storytelling style, the series is covered with dark jokes. With the excellent performance of Sumeet Vyas, Jatin Sarna and other talented actors, the show has gained lots of love from the viewers. It is the story of seven friends with high-paying jobs and the intriguing storyline sheds light on how their situation was different back in their college days. Adding to the plot is the story of how one of the seven characters uses the other six to his advantage.

On the other hand, ‘Bichhoo Ka Khel’ is a revenge masala drama set in Varanasi. Divyenndu plays the role of the protagonist Akhil Srivastava, a budding writer whose life is full of twist and turns to keep to stick at the edge of your seat.

Other shows which made it to the top 5 list includes ‘Chhalaang’ with 2.6 million views, ‘Aashram Chapter 2’ with 5.3 million views and ‘Laxmii’ with 2.4 million views.
