Actor Ajaz Khan, who was arrested in the drugs probe by the Narcotics Control Bureau has tested positive for Coronavirus. The former Bigg Boss contestant was arrested by the NCB on March 31 after 8 hours of interrogation in connection with a drug case.
Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) said that Ajaz Khan has been associated with the drugs supply cartel. Ajaz was arrested by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) in connection with a drug mafia controlled by Shadab Batata. Shadab Batata is the son of the famous drugs dealer Farukh Batata.
Meanwhile, Ajaz Khan has denied all claims of him being involved in any of the cases. The actor was arrested by the investigating agency after they recovered banned drugs from his residence. When questioned about the same, Ajaz said that the drugs were his wife's sleeping pills as she was using them to battle depression.
Ajaz Khan's lawyer also revealed in a statement that no drugs have been found from the former Bigg Boss contestant's house and the drugs which were recovered were Ajaz's wife's sleeping pills.
The Narcotics Control Bureau revealed in the court that a relation has been found between Ajaz Khan and Shadab Batata as they have recovered WhatsApp chats and voice notes between the two. The agency also told that they want to interrogate Ajaz and Batata face-to-face.
On the other hand, after interrogating Ajaz Khan, the NCB conducted a raid at another TV actor Gaurav Dixit's residence. The agency recovered large quantities of MD, MDMA and charas from the actor's residence.
