According to a report in Bollywood Hungama, the power couple has put strict restrictions at Breach Candy hospital in Mumbai where the ‘Dil Dhadakne Do’ actress gave birth to their first child. The new parents have now allowed even their close relatives to visit them. They are also not accepting flowers or gifts in the hospital, the report added.
Virushka have made preparations for extra security as even the visitors in the nearby rooms are not allowed to take a glimpse of Anushka Sharma's room.
Meanwhile, soon after the birth of their little angle, elated father Virat Kohli took to his social media to share the happy news with his fans and followers. The Indian cricket team captain revealed in a statement, “We are thrilled to share with you that we have been blessed with a baby girl this afternoon. We thank you all for your love, prayers and good wishes. Anushka and the baby are both healthy and we are feeling beyond blessed to start this new chapter of our lives. We hope that you can respect our privacy at this time. Love, Virat.”
Virat and Anushka tied the knot in a private ceremony in Italy in the year 2017. After three years of their marital bliss, the couple finally welcomed their little bundle of joy. Virushka announced their pregnancy last year in the month of August on their respective social media handles. Soon after the announcement, the post garnered millions of likes within minutes.
On the professional front, Anushka was last seen in 'Zero', which released in 2018. The movie also starred Shah Rukh Khan and Katrina Kaif. The trio was earlier seen together in 'Jab Tak Hain Jaan'. Although, Sharma is away from the big screen, she has delivered two big hits in the digital space- 'Bullbul' and 'Pataal Lok'.
