New Delhi: Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli are expecting their first child in January 2021. The couple announced their pregnancy on social media with an adorable post a few months ago and soon after, it broke the internet garnering more than 5 million likes on Instagram within minutes.

After announcing their pregnancy, Anushka and Virat went to Dubai for IPL 2020. After she returned, the ‘NH10’ actress set off to complete her work commitments before her delivery. Anushka keeps on sharing glimpses of her life during pregnancy on her social media. Recently, the ‘Band Baaja Baaraat’ actress took to her Instagram and shared a throwback picture of hers when she was not pregnant. She shared a quirky caption along with the photo. Anushka wrote, “Throwback to when I could sit like this and eat . Now I can’t sit like this but I can EAT”



Recently, Anushka and Virat celebrated their 3rd wedding anniversary. On this special occasion, the ‘Phillauri’ actress shared an adorable picture with her love with the caption, “3 years of us & very soon , 3 of us Miss you”



A few days back, Anushka talked about the importance of yoga during pregnancy in the post. She shared a photo where she is seen doing ‘shirshasan’ or a headstand with the help of a wall and husband Virat Kohli. The caption read, “This exercise is ‘hands-down’ (and legs up) the most difficult one #Throwback.”

The ‘Dil Dhadakne Do’ actress went on to add that yoga has been a big part of her pregnancy. “As yoga is a big part of my life, my doctor recommended that I can do all such asanas that I was doing before I was pregnant barring twists & extreme forward bends, but of course with the appropriate and required support. For the Shirshasana, which I have been doing for many years, I ensured that I used the wall for support and also my very able husband supporting me balance,” wrote Anushka.



On a related note, Virat Kohli is currently in Australia for the ongoing Australia-India cricket series. Virat will soon be returning to India and has been granted paternity leave by the BCCI to be by his wife's side who is due in January.
