Newly married Ankita Lokhande recently celebrated her 37th birthday on December 19 with husband Vicky Jain, family and close friends. And while the birthday girl received tons of wishes from her fans online, on Tuesday (December 21, 2021) she got a surprise message from her ex-boyfriend and late actor Sushant Singh Rajput's sister Shweta Singh Kirti.
Shweta Singh Kirti sent birthday wishes for Ankita Lokhande on her official Instagram page and although, it was a late wish, she posted a throwback photo with Ankita and wished her a happy birthday.
Shweta captioned the photo: "A very happy birthday to the sweetest girl I know…. I hope you get every happiness in life…coz you deserve them! Sending loads of love and prayers your way ❤️🤗 #HappyBirthdayAnkita (sic)"

Earlier Sushant's sister had also congratulated Ankita on her wedding on December 14.
On a related note, late Sushant Singh Rajput and Ankita Lokhande were in a relationship for nearly six years before parting ways in 2016.
On June 14, 2020 Sushant Singh Rajput left the entire nation in shock when he was found dead in his Bandra apartment in Mumbai. He allegedly died by suicide. His alleged suicide left Ankita in a heavy state of shock, and she was seen in a devastated state during his last rites.
Recently Ankita, tied the knot with Raipur-based businessman Vicky Jain after three years of dating . The duo exchanged wedding vows after a three-day long pre-wedding functions at a 5 star hotel in Mumbai.
