New Delhi: Singer and rapper Yo Yo Honey Singh has been all over the news lately due to his legal troubles. Honey was accused of kidnapping and assaulting one of his event organisers, Vivek Ravi Raman. On Thursday, he reportedly had a police case filed against him at the Bandra Kurla Complex. Now, Honey Singh turned to his social media to explain his side of the story. The rapper has finally spoken on the situation, calling the complaint and news "false and baseless."

The BKC police station has received a written complaint against Honey Singh and others from a person called Vivek Raman. The police said an investigation into the incident has begun.

Taking to social media, Honey Singh denies the complaint, writing, “The complaint and the allegations are false and baseless. There is no connection or agreement between my company or the complainant which the media is showing since morning. I was engaged for the Mumbai Show through a company named Tribevibe which is a reputed company and a sister concern of Bookmyshow. I did my performance for whatever time the permission was there for. Rest all such allegations are false and an attempt to tarnish my image. My Legal Team is already working to file a defamation case against such miscreants.”

The complainant said that Honey Singh and his team were upset over the event's cancellation, and that they later kidnapped him, held him hostage at a hotel in Mumbai, and attacked him. He ordered that a case be filed against Singh and that the singer and his friends be taken into custody, according to the police.

According to the police, he demanded that a complaint be filed against Singh and that the singer and his friends be taken into custody.

On the personal front, Honey Singh and his girlfriend Tina Thadani are reportedly no longer together. In January 2023, the rapper introduced his girlfriend at an event. According to rumours, the two have removed their photos of one another and unfollowed one another on social media.
