New Delhi: Bollywood actress Amrita Singh celebrates her 63rd birthday today (February 9, 2021). As she turns a year older, her daughter and actress Sara Ali Khan took to her social media and wished her mother on her birthday.

The ‘Coolie No 1’ actress took to her Instagram and shared some adorable pictures with her mother as she penned down a heartfelt note. Sara Ali Khan was born to Bollywood actors Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh in the year 1995. While the ‘Love Aaj Kal’ actress is the nation’s heartthrob, her mother Amrita keeps a low profile and gives very few interviews. Singh started her career with the 1983 film ‘Betaab’ starring opposite Sunny Deol. She gained recognition and became a well-known name in the Hindi film industry with several other movies like ‘Mard’, ‘Saaheb’, ‘Chameli Ki Shaadi’ and others. She took a break from acting in the early 1990s and returned to acting with playing supporting roles in the year 2002.
Amrita Singh got married to Saif Ali Khan in the year 1991. The couple has two children together – Sara Ali Khan and Ibrahim Ali Khan. Saif and Amrita got officially separated in the year 2004.
Meanwhile, Amrita and Saif’s daughter Sara Ali Khan made her acting debut starring opposite Sushant Singh Rajput in the 2018 movie ‘Kedarnath’. She then starred in movies like ‘Simmba’, ‘Love Aaj Kal’ and others.
She was last seen in the movie ‘Coolie No 1’ opposite Varun Dhawan. Sara will be next seen starring alongside Dhanush and Akshay Kumar in the movie ‘Atrangi Re’.
