Actor Jagesh Mukati, who has been part of many popular TV shows and films like Amita Ka Amit, Shree Ganesh and Hasee Toh Phasee breathed his last on Wednesday (June 10). According to reports the actor was admitted to the hospital from the last three-four days and he passed away after developing breathing issues.


Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah's Ambika Ranjankar, who has worked with him in the past mourned the sudden demise of her late co-star and shared an emotional post on Instagram.

She shared a throwback picture from one of their shows and captioned the image as, "Kind, supportive and terrific sense of humour... gone too soon...May your soul attain sadgati🙏 🕉शांती Jagesh you'll be missed dear friend."

Artiste’s organisation, CINTAA also expressed their grief and tweeted from the official handle, “#CINTAA expresses it’s deepest condolence on the demise of Mr. Jagesh Mukati (Member since December 2008) @DJariwalla @sushant_says @amitbehl1 @SuneelSinha @deepakqazir @NupurAlankar @neelukohliactor @sanjaymbhatia @JhankalRavi @abhhaybhaargava @rakufired @RajRomit.”

Jagesh, who has acted in Hindi TV shows and films was also popularly known in the Gujarati theatre.
More details about the cause of Jagesh’s death are yet to be confirmed. Meanwhile, reports claimed that he had tested negative for coronavirus before being admitted in the hospital. He was also shifted to the ICU after his condition deteriorated.
