In a shocking and unfortunate turn of events, popular actor Amit Mistry has passed away. The actor was a well-known name in the Gujrati film industry and was last seen in popular web series Bandish Bandits.
According to various reports he suffered from cradiac arrest and didn't survive.
Amit was known to be a talented artiste and a lovely human being who always stood for his friends and behaved supportively in crisis.
Soon as the sad news of Amit’s death surfaced in media many celebs including actress Jacquline Fernandez, Kubra Sait, Sumeet Vyas and others took to social media to mourn his death.
Expressing sorrow over the actor's death '102 Not Out' director Umesh Shukla told ABP News that, he is deeply shocked and saddened with the news, he confirmed that Amit passed away on Friday morning after suffering cardiac arrest. He use to live in the Juhu area with his aging mother and was declared dead even before being taken to the hospital.
The late actor's manager, Mahirshi Desai told ABP News that, Mistry got divorced from his wife 10 years back and use to live with his mom in Mumbai who is now preparing for her son's last rites along with some near relatives.
Many fans of Amit too condoled his death on Twitter, "Sad, too young to go. May his soul RIP," wrote one. "RIP #Amit... You will be missed," wrote another.
Mistry was seen in Bollywood films Kya Kehna, Ek Chalis Ki Last Local, 99, Shor in The City, Yamla Pagla Deewana and Gujarati movie Bey Yaar.
