After her beau Ranbir Kapoor and director of her movie ‘Gangubai Kathiawadi’ Sanjay Leela Bhansali tested positive for Covid-19 Alia Bhatt also took the test and thankfully she has been tested negative for the novel coronavirus.


As Alia has been working closely with both Ranbir and Sanjay she also opted for the test and despite of testing negative she has still isolated herself. Meanwhile, Ranbir Kapoor who caught the virus on the sets of ‘Brahmastra’ is recovering currently.


Earlier, Ranbir’s mother and actress Neetu Kapoor confirmed, in a social media statement on Tuesday morning, that her son had tested positive for the novel coronavirus. “Thank you for your concern and your good wishes. Ranbir has tested positive for Covid-19. He is on medication and recovering well. He is in self-quarantine at home and following all precautions,” Neetu shared on Instagram.



On a related note, Ranbir’s mother Neetu Kapoor too had tested positive forCovid-19 last year while shooting for her upcoming film 'Jug Jug Jeeyo' in Chandigarh.
