New Delhi: The search engine Google released its mid-year search 2022 list which features the name of the most googled Asian celebrities. In the Google Mid Year Search 2022 list, Bollywood actors like Katrina Kaif and Alia Bhatt are included. K-Pop sensation V topped the list as the most searched Asian celebrity. Late singing legend Lata Mangeshkar ranked fifth while Sidhu Moose Wala ranked third in it.

1. Sidhu Moose Wala
Late Punjabi rapper and singer Sidhu Moose Wala ranked number 3 in the Google Mid Year Search List 2022. Moose Wala was shot dead on 29 May 2022 in his own native village by a group of men who followed his car the day after the Punjab government lifted security measures of many prominent personalities in the Indian state.
2. Lata Mangeshkar
Late legendary singer Lata Mangeshar passed away on February 6 at the age of 92. Lata Mangeshkar was one of the greatest influences and singers in India and had been conferred with many honorary titles. Her flourishing career spanned more than 80 years.Lata Mangeshkar ranked 5th in the search list.
3. Katrina Kaif
Katrina occupied the 7th position in the most searched Google Mid Year Search list 2022 and ranked number one among her colleagues.
4. Alia Bhatt
Alia Bhatt ranks 8th position in the Google search list. Alia trended multiple times this year on the search engine for various reasons. First with the blockbuster 'Gangubai Kathiawadi' in which she played the titular role, then her wedding with Ranbir Kapoor and later her pregnancy announcement.
5. Priyanka Chopra
In the 9th position, Priyanka Chopra featured. As Priyanka and Nick became parents to a young girl via surrogacy, the global sensation ranked number 3rd among the Bollywood actresses who featured on the list.
6. Salman Khan
Salman Khan ranked as the 4th most googled Bollywood celebrity. Although Salman did not have any major release this year, his 'Tiger 3' has been building a lot of anticipation among fans.
7. Shah Rukh Khan
Shah Rukh has two major films lined up for 2023 including 'Pathaan' and 'Jawan'. Fans are really excited to see the star make a comeback after a long hiatus of 4 years. The actor ranked 5th among the most searched Bollywood celebrities on the Google Mid Year Search list 2022.
8. Kareena Kapoor Khan
Kareena Kapoor is an A-lister with many good films to her credit. Her upcoming film 'Laal Singh Chaddha' alongside Aamir Khan and 'The Devotion of Suspect X' alongside Vijay Varma and Jaideep Alhawat is much-awaited. Kareena ranks number 6th among the Bollywood celeb searches.
9. Akshay Kumar
The megastar who releases quite many films in a year was recently seen in 'Samrat Prithviraj' and 'Bachchan Pandey'. He also has two more films like 'Raksha Bandhan' and 'Ram Setu' lined up for release. Akshay Kumar ranks 7th in the most searched Bollywood celeb list on the Google Mid Year Search list 2022.
10. Aishwarya Rai Bachchan
Aishwarya Rai recently walked the Cannes red carpet in May in France. Aishwarya's presence is always anticipated at the prestigious film-festival where she is a regular. Aishwarya ranked as the 8th most searched Bollywood celebrity on the list.
