New Delhi: The moment we all have been waiting for is here. One of the highlights of Cannes Film Festival every year, atleast for us Indians, is Aishwarya Rai Bachchan's look at the prestigious event. Looks like, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, is here to rule the Cannes red carpet year after year with her impressive fashion statements. The actor was seen at the Cannes 2023 in a black and silver outfit of hood couture.


 






 


Aishwarya walked the red carpet at the screening of Indiana Jones And The Dial Of Destiny on Thursday night. 


"Not supposed to comment on the outfits but Aishwarya's is very striking," announced the red carpet compere on the official live stream, reported NTDV.


This is Aishwarya Rai Bachchan's 21st year at the Cannes Film Festival, the first time being around the film 'Devdas' directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali co-starring Shah Rukh Khan. The Cannes veteran is quite comfortable  in the French Riviera, as all her previous looks have proved. And, this time too, Aishwarya Rai has given everyone something to talk about. Her rather bold and big choice of outfit.


At the 76th Cannes Film Festival, celebrated members of the international film fraternity will be seen together at the red carpet of this glamourous yet serious event. This year, filmmakers like Martin Scorsese, Wes Anderson, Todd Haynes, and Jonathan Glazer will be competing for the top prize-the Palme d'Or.


This year, the Swedish director Ruben Ostlund is heading the Cannes Jury as President. Ostlund has won Palne d'Or twice, once for 'The Square' in 2017 and then last year for 'Triangle of Sadness'. Eight fellow jurors include the French director Julia Ducournau, who has won the Palme once, Damián Szifron, from Argentina, Zambian-born Rungano Nyoni, Moroccan filmmaker Maryam Touzani, Afghanistan born Atiq Rahimi, are among the other members of the Cannes 2023 Jury.


Closer home, Anurag Kashyap's 'Kennedy' starring Rahul Bhat and Sunny Leone will be premiering at the Cannes Film Festival 2023. In all, four Indian films will be screened at the 76th Cannes Film Festival.  There will also be Indian celebrities and the delegation will be led by Union Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting, L Murugan. 


This year, Indian celebs like Anushka Sharma, Sara Ali Khan, influencer Dolly Singh, Esha Gupta, Aditi Rao Hydari, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan are expected to be seen at the Cannes.
