The news that Krushna Abhishek won't be returning for Season 2 broke early on. Now, even longtime cast member Chandan Prabhakar has said that he would not be appearing on the comedy programme.
The former actor who portrayed Chandu on ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’ has said that there is no concrete explanation for his refusal to return. In addition, he said that he just needed a break.
Chandan explained his withdrawal from The Kapil Sharma Show in an interview with Pinkvilla. For no particular reason, Chandan said, “Yes, I will not be a part of this season of The Kapil Sharma Show and there is no specific reason. I just wanted to take a break.”
For the unversed, Krushna Abhishek has already said that he would not be appearing on the current season of Kapil Sharma's comedy program. The actor said that "agreement problems" were the cause.
