New Delhi: Singer and singing reality show anchor Aditya Narayan has finally decided to bid adieu to his hosting duties. He announced the news after the grand finale episode of singing talent hunt 'Sa Re Ga Ma Pa', that came to an end on Sunday with 19-year-old Nileenjana Ray lifting the winner's trophy.


Aditya Narayan, who shares a strong bond with the show and the platform, penned an emotional note to announce that he would no longer be seen hosting the show. Taking to Instagram, he shared some of the best moments from the grand finale episode along with a heartfelt note.


Sharing a series of pictures, he wrote, "With a heavy heart, I bid adieu to my hosting duties to a show that gave me my own identity as an adult, SaReGaMaPa.
From an 18 year old teenager to a young man with a beautiful wife & baby daughter! 15years. 9 seasons. 350 episodes🤯 Time really does fly."


He also thanked Neeraj Sharma along with the other crew members. He concluded the note by writing, "The best is yet to come! ❤️🙏🏼"

Aditya's close friend and actress Nia Sharma commented on the post, "more power to youuuuuuuuu!!!!"


While singer-music composer and judge Vishal Dadlani expressed his sadness over Aditya's decision and wished that he changes his mind. Vishal wrote, "Man...kya boloon? Your first SRGMP was my first SRGMP too, and for whatever its worth...I hope you change your mind. Or, that the music you make is so incredibly loved and successful that you don't have the time to do TV!! That, I can live with. Jaa, Adi....Jee le apni zindagi! Love you man! 🤗"


Aditya also reposted Vishal Dadlani's post on his Instagram story. Vishal wrote along with the post, "I don't think we can allow you to quit. Kuch na kuch jugaad karna padega. Seriously, though, I hope you reconsider. That said, if you don't, you know I am on your side with everything you decide to do. Love you, man. Thank you for everything!"


 




Aditya reshared the post by writing, "Love you big brother, truly. Rest assured. I have a vision and that voice from within is telling me very clearly that now is the time. Also, please don't confuse people, I still have 2 shows to host this year. And as the saying goes, never say never."


Aditya Narayan began his new journey of life as a father by welcoming a baby girl with wife Shweta Agarwal on February 24, this year.
