New Delhi: Actor Iqbal Khan welcomed his second child with wife Sneha on February 11. The couple got blessed with a baby girl, who was born in a suburban nursing home. Iqbal and Sneha, who are already parents to a ten-year old Ammaara, have named the new member in the family, Ifza.
In an interview to ETimes, the actor said that Sneha chose to name the baby Ifza, which means, guardian angel. He also added, "We are blessed. My elder one Ammaara always wanted a baby sister and she is very happy. Both Sneha nad Ifza are doing good."
The actor also revealed how the birth of Ammaara changed him as a person, as he became a father for the first time. He added, "After Ifza, I again feel extreme gratitude that we are chosen by the Almighty to become the medium giving love and care to another soul."
Iqbal, along with his close friend and actor Maniesh Paul and his wife Sanyukta Paul had organised a surprise baby shower for Sneha. It was an intimate affair with only family and close friends in attendance owing to the surge in Covid cases.
Sneha later took to Instagram to express gratitude for her friends' efforts. She wrote, "I wasn't planning or expecting any baby shower with the current scenario. With just few weeks left, I am staying indoors as much as possible. However, this was the cutest surprise by Sanyukta and Maniesh Paul and the husband. Love, love and only love. They wanted many to be a part of it but sadly couldn't do so. I feel loved and blessed. Alhamdulillah."
She had also expressed her gratefulness for those sending her duas and wishes.
Iqbal Khan and Sneha got married in 2007. They welcomed their first child Ammaara in 2011. The couple is experiencing parenthood once again after a decade with their little bundle of joy, Ifza.
