Leaving the entire film fraternity and their fans in shock, Bollywood actor Aamir Khan and his producer-director wife Kiran Rao on Saturday announced the news of their divorce after 15 years of marriage. The two released a joint statement wherein they stated that they would now embark on a new chapter of their lives as co-parents and family for each other.


Soon after the couple announced divorce Aamir’s daughter shared a cryptic post on her Instagram story and now the actor’s nephew Imran Khan’s estranged wife Avantika Malik has dropped a cryptic post on Instagram.


She shared a post that reads: "But if this year has taught me anything it is this: You can never run away. Not ever. The only way out is in. - Juno Diaz."




Imraan and Avantika have been living separately for close to two years now. Imran has even quit acting as confirmed by his friends, Akshay Oberoi and Abhinay Deo.


Meanwhile, a day after announcing their divorce, Aamir Khan and Kiran Rao shared a video message for fans that said the two are now in a happy space and still consider each other a part of the same family. The 'Ghajini' star also opened up on the status of Paani Foundation.


For the unversed, Paani Foundation, which is active in drought prevention and watershed management, was founded by Aamir and Kiran a few years ago. The two can be seen holding each other's hands in the clip, which is doing the rounds on the internet.


Aamir and Kiran, got married in 2005. The two welcomed their son Azad Rao Khan in 2011 through surrogacy.
