HBO’s 'Succession' topped this year's Emmy Awards nominations by receiving 25 Emmy nominations on Tuesday. While Succession’s nominations were expected, the Korean show ‘Squid Game’ created history by becoming the first non-English series to get nominations for television’s biggest awards.

Squid Game received a best drama nomination and 13 other nods for the 75th Emmy Awards. The nominees for best drama series are Better Call Saul; Euphoria; Ozark; Severance; Squid Game; Stranger Things; Succession and Yellowjackets.

‘Ted Lasso’, a comedy-drama, got 20 nominations while ‘The White Lotus’ earned the top spot in the limited series categories with 20 nominations. Selena Gomez's show ‘Only Murders in the Building’ earned 17 nominations.
