BJP's Kamini Rathore has been elected as the new mayor of Firozabad Municipal Corporation.
Hemlata Diwakar of BJP secured the mayoral position in Agra Municipal Corporation with a majority of over 100,000 votes.
Pramila Pandey of the BJP emerged victorious in the mayoral election held for the Kanpur Municipal Corporation.
Harikant Ahluwalia, representing the BJP, emerged victorious in the mayoral election held in the Meerut Municipal Corporation.
Archana Verma of the BJP party has emerged victorious in the election for the mayor of the Shahjahanpur Municipal Corporation.
Sunita Dayal of the BJP has emerged victorious in the mayoral elections of Ghaziabad, obtaining 3,50,905 votes.
In the mayoral election held in Prayagraj, Ganesh Kesarwani from the BJP emerged as the winner with a total of 2,35,675 votes. The closest competitor in the race, Ajay Kumar Srivastava from the SP, secured 1,06,286 votes. Prabha Shankar Mishra, a politician representing Congress, secured 40,486 votes and came in third place.
BJP candidate Prashant Singhal wins the post of mayor from Aligarh Municipal Corporation.
"The double engine government is diligently striving for the development of the state. With Prime Minister Modi’s guidance, we are committed to ensure consistent progress in Uttar Pradesh," said CM Yogi Adityanath.
The BJP remains ahead in the race for the mayor position in Varanasi. After tallying the results from 10 rounds, Ashok Tiwari from the BJP emerged with 115,636 votes, while Om Prakash Singh from the Samajwadi Party received 62,246 votes. Anil Srivastava from the Congress received 38,412 votes, Sharda Tandon from AAP received 2,756 votes, and Subhash Chand Manhji from the BSP received 12,039 votes.
The Ayodhya Municipal Corporation encompasses 60 wards in total.
The BJP is set to hold 27 seats out of a total of 60 council seats.
SP, has a total of 17.
There are 10 independent
The BSP possesses a total of three council members.
The number of councillors representing AAP is one.
One councillor is affiliated with the Peace Party.
The RLD party is represented by a single councillor.
The current vote count shows that the BJP nominee for the mayoral position in Varanasi is in the lead after eight rounds.

After tallying 13 rounds, it appears that the mayoral candidate from the BJP is currently leading in the Aligarh district.

At 4 pm, the current tally shows that Ganesh Kesarwani, the BJP candidate from Prayagraj, is ahead with a total of 12,3704 votes. Ajay Kumar Srivastava of the Samajwadi Party holds the second spot with a total of 56,284 votes. Mohammad Qadir from Aam Aadmi Party occupies the third position, having obtained 7,513 votes.
Vinod Agarwal, a member of the BJP, emerged victorious in Mathura with a total of 145,720 votes. Raja Mohatshim Ahmed of BSP secured the second position with a vote count of 35,191. The third position was secured by Shyam Sundar Upadhyay from Congress.
Umesh Gautam, the candidate for mayor from BJP, has achieved consecutive victories for the second time.
According to the State Election Commission (SEC), BJP's Bihari Lal Arya bagged 1,23,503 votes, and defeated his nearest rival Arvind Kumar of the Congress by a margin of 83,587 votes.

Amid enthralling performance by the BJP in Nikay Chunav, the saffron party is preparing to celebrate the victory in Lucknow at party headquarters. CM Yogi Aditynath is likely to join at around 4 PM.

BJP opens account in Kaushambi as it wins Sirathu Nagar Panchayat.
The Bharatiya Janta Party has won Firzoabad's Fariha Nagar Panchayat seat by a margin of around 400 votes.
BJP's Vindo Aggarwal is heading towards victory as he leads with over 69,000 votes after 12 rounds of counting.

Delay continues in the counting of votes in Kanpur Dehat. The results of 11 Nagar Panchayats and 2 Nagar Palikas did not come even after two hours after the counting began at 8 am.

In Prayagraj, the game has gone in Samajwadi Party's favour with the party leaving BJP behind which was earlier in lead in the early trends.
SP candidates are ahead in 4 seats in 8 Nagar Panchayats. SP's candidate ahead for the post of Nagar Panchayat president. BJP candidates are ahead on only 2 seats out of 8. BSP leading on one seat and on the other. Congress is nowhere ahead in the trends in Prayagraj.
Raja Bhaiya's candidate continues to lead in Partapgarh's Kunda.
In a close tussle, BJP candidate is leading on Firozabad mayoral seat by only a margin of 8 votes. BJP got 25 while SP got 27 votes.
Kotwali police in Fatehpur arrested two fake agents at the counting centre. They were interrogated by Sadar Kotwali police.
The fake agents had reached the counting place of Government Inter College here.

Firozabad: BJP ahead in postal ballot counting in Sirsaganj Municipality. Out of 43 postal ballots, BJP got 35 votes, SP got 7 and BSP got one vote.

Security arrangements tightened in Moradabad ahead of Uttar Pradesh civic elections counting.
SSP Hemraj Meena said, "We will have counting of votes at 4 centres here. 1,249 constables, 200 sub-inspectors, 32 inspectors and 2 teams of PAC have been deployed. Only those with valid passes will be allowed near the counting centre."

The results of Uttar Pradesh Nikay Chunav will be announced today two days after the second and final phase of elections was concluded on Thursday (May 11). In the first phase of the local body elections, conducted in 37 districts on May 4, the voting percentage was 52 per cent while the voter turnout after the final phase on Thursday was recorded at 53 per cent.
According to the State Election Commission (SEC), Varanasi recorded a polling percentage of 38.89, Lucknow 35.42 and Prayagraj 30.32. A polling percentage of 52.59 was recorded in the first phase of the 2017 urban local body elections.
The UP municipal elections were held for 17 seats of Mayor, 1,420 of Corporator, 199 of Nagar Palika Parishad Chairperson, 5,327 of Nagar Palika Parishad Member, 544 of Nagar Panchayat Chairperson, and 7,178 seats of Nagar Panchayat Member. Shahjahanpur will get its mayor for the first time this year as the city became a municipal corporation in 2018.
The poll results will also decide the fate of 198 chairpersons of municipal councils,5,260 municipal council members (nagar palika parishads), 542 chairpersons of town panchayats and 7,177 members of town panchayats. UP BJP spokesperson Hero Bajpai said the party will win all 17 mayor seats.
UP CM Yogi Adityanath had termed the polls as "Dev-Asur Sangram (battle between deities and demons)." On the last day of campaigning, without naming anyone, the chief minister appeared to invoke nature as a great leveller - a force that delivers justice. "It will bag a lion's share in the corporators' category. The party will also perform extremely well in nagar palika parishads and nagar panchayats," PTI quoted Bajpai as saying.
SP spokesperson Deepak Ranjan said the ULB polls "will spring up a surprise". "The cycle (SP's election symbol) has covered a significant distance during the election, while the lotus (BJP's symbol did not bloom," Ranjan said.
On the ground, BJP and Samajwadi Party campaigned aggressively while there was little presence of Congress, with most of its top leaders busy in Karnataka polls.
