Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday said that those who defame Gujarat should not have any place in the state. Addressing a rally in Valsad, Gujarat he said, “Beware of those who defame Gujarat. Those who defame Gujarat should not have place in the state.” 






“In earlier Congress rule, 1 GB data cost Rs 300, now it is Rs 10. Bill of current monthly data usage is Rs 250-300. It would have been Rs 5,000 if Congress remained in power,” PTI quoted PM as saying. 






Talking about women empowerment in Gujarat, the PM said that the state has achieved unprecedented achievements in the field of women empowerement. PM Modi also mentioned about 'Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao' scheme in his address to a rally in Valsad.






The Prime Minister said that after attending different programmes in Itanagar and Varanasi, he came to Valsad seeking people's blessings. He said, "I have full confidence that Gujarat will trust BJP again by making it victorious."


Earlier, PM Modi has shared a video of his arrival in Valsad, Gujarat in which he can be seen waving at his supporters. He tweeted the video and said, "The mood in Valsad is clear…it’s BJP all the way!"






The state will go to polls on December 1 and December 5 while the votes will be counted on December 8.
