Prime Minister Narendra Modi who spoke at a rally on Sunday had to interrupt his address for a moment after he noticed some people climbing a structure fixed in the grounds, news agency ANI reported. Ahead of the Telangana assembly elections, PM Modi was in the Niraml city to address a public rally.  A video shared by news agency ANI shows the people climbing the tall structure.

During his speech at a public gathering, Prime Minister Narendra Modi urged that those who climbed the structure come down. "I understand there is a lot of crowd and you are unable to see me but if someone falls, it'll make me really sad," he stated.

PM Modi said on Sunday that Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao promised people benefit projects but delivered'scams' instead. He further said that KCR primarily worked for the advantage of his own children rather than for the welfare of youngsters in the state.

Speaking at the rally, PM Modi stated: "We have a government in Telangana that stays in a farmhouse & does not give houses to the poor. KCR is an enemy of the poor & held their houses. But I promise that as soon as the BJP government is formed in Telangana these houses will be given to the poor immediately. This is Modi's guarantee."

The Prime Minister further chastised KCR for his alleged habit of making pledges with deceptive motives, citing a number of failed promises.

He stated: “KCR’s promise of a Dalit CM remained unfulfilled, the Dalit Bandhu scheme was not implemented as pledged, employment for the youth, and promise of water to farmers was allegedly broken.”

“KCR delivered scams instead of the promised schemes,” the PM added.

Slamming the ruling state government, PM Modi said: "BRS has given you nothing except betrayal. Telangana is in debt of thousands of crores of rupees. Today, Telangana is known for the irrigation scams...KCR does not care for your future. KCR only cares for his own children & family members' future."
