Telangana Elections 2023: Ahead of Congress leader Rahul Gandhi's visit, posters have been put up in Nizamabad and Bodhan in Telangana against the party with the photo of Gandhi and state Congress chief Revanth Reddy on them stating that "Congress party killed our children". The posters also sought an apology from the grand-old party.
"You are responsible for the sacrifices.. You are the one who killed our children, you have to apologise.. You have to rub your nose on the ground.. Electricity problems in Karnataka.. Not jobs.. Gallows.. Unemployed for the sin of voting for Congress," the posters, loosely translated into English, read.
Telangana is the only state remaining to vote this year as voting has concluded in Mizoram, Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh while polling is underway in Rajasthan.
Congress chief Mallikarjun Kharge, Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi Vadra have public meetings lined up in Telangana where they are aiming to remove the CM KCR-led BRS government. On the other hand, KCR is confident of repeating the government in the youngest state of the country for the third time in a row.
