Aam Aadmi Party MLA and spokesperson Saurabh Bhardwaj has called conman Sukesh Chandrasekhar the star campaigner for the BJP after he made explosive allegations against party chief Arvind Kejriwal in a new letter. Addressing a press conference, Bhardwaj said, “The way BJP has panicked due to the Gujarat Assembly and Delhi MCD polls, it is visible in their nervousness.” He said, “Big leaders of BJP have to use ‘Mahathug’ like Sukesh and now he has become a star campaigner of BJP.”
The response came after Sukesh Chandrashekhar, in a new letter, accused Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal of forcing him to bring 20-30 individuals to contribute Rs 500 crore to the Aam Aadmi Party in return for seats and party postings. Previously in a letter to the Delhi LG, Sukesh had written that he was forced to pay Rs 10 crore "protection money" to the Aam Aadmi Party minister Satyendar Jain.
Reacting to the allegations Saurabh went on to say, “While in jail, Sukesh extorted money from the wife of former Ranbaxy owner and his wife gave him the money. Money was demanded in the name of the home minister too, he was given a total of Rs 215 crore. Sukesh Chandrashekhar is an honest man, so BJP should tell where the money has been kept?” He said that whatever thug Sukesh has done is already in the public domain. “Where are those Rs 215 crore that was extorted in the name of the home minister? Amit Shah and BJP should tell us,” he asked.
On the accusation of Sukesh having talked to Kejriwal from Satyendra Jain’s phone, Saurabh said, “First Amit Shah should tell where the money is. Sukesh is alleging that he asked for money from us but did not get it whereas money was demanded and given in the name of Amit Shah, so BJP should be answerable here.”
In a fresh letter, posted by ANI, Sukesh wrote, "The complaint filed is only a small part of the entire episode of events that have taken place. I have filed an additional complaint with other facts pertaining to Mr. Arvind Kejriwal, Mr. Kailash Gehlot, and Mr. Satyendar Jain." Chandrashekar mentioned that his additional complaint was filed before the Delhi Lieutenant Governor by his legal team.
AAP Challenges LG to Fight MCD Polls
Talking about the tussle between the LG and the Delhi government Saurabh Bhardwaj challenged the LG to contest the Delhi MCD polls. He said, “The LG should prove his popularity. He can fight the MCD poll from any of the 250 wards he wishes and if he wins, we will accept that he has earned massive popularity as LG. But if he loses, then he should stop all this drama and resign from his post.”
On Similar Manifesto of AAP and Congress in Himachal Pradesh
Saurabh said, “If Congress is learning from us (AAP), then we welcome them. Sometime before Rahul Gandhi advised his party workers to learn from Arvind Kejriwal. It is good that Congress is talking on health and schools.”
