NEW DELHI: Union minister Ravi Shankar Prasad, in ABP News’ Shikhar Sammelan which was organised ahead of the December 7 assembly polls, said that "if we are ready for the construction Ram temple, then we are equally concerned for other religious symbols." On the issue of construction of Ram Mandir, he said “Where will Ram mandir be built if not in Ayodhya? We wanted an out of court settlement. Similarly, I will protest if even a brick is dislodged from Jama Masjid.”

Prasad claimed that in the case of e-governance, Rajasthan has been awarded twice. The Vasundhara Raje government has done a lot of work in the state and Rajasthan has come out from the list of BIMARU states. He said that the public of Rajasthan will reward the government for this.

On Imran Khan’s praise of Navjot Singh Sidhu and complimenting the Congress leader for talking about the friendship between India and Pakistan, the Union minister said “seems Imran Khan is still a cricketer and not a prime minister. His comment on "Sidhu becoming PM" is totally irresponsible. He has no job to interfere in India's internal affairs.”

The state which is currently ruled by the Bharatiya Janata Party with Vasundhara Raje as its Chief Minister, the election will be held on December 7 along with Telangana. Counting of votes will be taken up in all the five states on December 11.
