The Congress had earlier announced that an event would be organised to unveil the statue of former Union Minister Shishram Ola in Jhunjhunu on October 25. A programme has also been held in Ardavat village on the occasion.
Notably, the grand old party is seeking to retain power on the strength of the work done over the last five years and the welfare schemes announced by the Gehlot government.
Voting for the 200-member assembly in Rajasthan will be held in a single phase on November 25. The results will be announced on December 3.
Earlier on Sunday, the Congress announced the names of 43 candidates in its second list.
