The Bharatiya Janata Party on Monday released its sixth list of candidates for the upcoming Assembly polls in Rajasthan. Girraj Singh Malinga, who left Congress to join the saffron party on Sunday has been given a ticket to contest the polls from Bari constituency in Dholpur district. The polls for 200-member Rajasthan Legislative Assembly will be held in a single phase on November 25 and the votes will be counted on December 3.
The list released by the saffron party on Monday includes two more names, Deepak Kadvasra who will contest the polls from Barmer and former Rajasthan minister Arun Amraram Chaudhary who has been fielded from Pachpadra constituency in Balotra district.
After joining the BJP on Sunday, Malinga alleged that Congress does not listen to anyone except Pradyuman Singh in Dholpur and so there was no reason to stay in the party. He also said that he joined the saffron party after being influneced from policies of the party and Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
"I liked the policies of the BJP and I am influenced by the work of PM Modi that he has done in the favour of the country. In the last 15 years, a lot has happened to me in Congress," Malinga said while speaking to ANI.

"We were being targeted one by one. In Dholpur, the Congress is being run by Pradhyuman Singh. Whatever he says is final, no one else is listened to," he added.
"Our only fault was we were loyal to the party. They didn't even ask why we resigned. We were standing with Mallikarjun Kharge, those who opposed him got the minister's position... Whatever the party (BJP) decides is acceptable to us. Ticket is not an issue for me," Malinga said.
