In a speech on Saturday, Priyanka Gandhi, the general secretary of the All India Congress Committee, lashed out at both the ruling CPI(M) and the opposition BJP in Kerala. Attacking I.N.D.I.A bloc partner CPI(M) at a rally, Gandhi targeted the Kerala Chief Minister, accusing him of consistently targeting her brother and the Congress party while overlooking the BJP. She highlighted allegations of corruption against the CM and criticized the BJP for not taking action against him.

Priyanka further pointed out the controversial circumstances surrounding the Kerala BJP President during elections, alleging that despite being found with large sums of money, no actions were taken against him.

On her brother Rahul Gandhi, Priyanka Gandhi said, "One man walked from Kanyakumari to Kashmir to unite the country and show you the way to peace, harmony and progress. He fought for the truth and raised his voice against injustice, and the CM of Kerala only attacks him."

Turning to socio-economic issues, Gandhi highlighted the plight of Kerala's citizens, citing soaring fuel prices, inadequate support for farmers, and the struggles faced by fishermen. She said, "1 out of 3 youngsters is unemployed. All the jobs go to party workers. 21 lakh people have been forced to leave their hometown to look for employment. The situation has become so difficult that many youngsters from Kerala are forced to go and work in war-torn areas."
