"My relationship with Kashmir is very old. I worked there when I was a Sanghthan (RSS) worker there. I have been with the people of Kashmir. Years later, when I became the Prime Minister, I visited Kashmir the day it was experiencing a massive flood. Srinagar was flooded, and the Chief Minister was somewhere else. I visited the places affected. I met with officials at the Airport and allocated 1,000 crore rupees then and there," the Prime Minister said.
"Today, the capital of Jammu and Kashmir Bank has increased. It is a profit-making bank now. During Covid times, I used to take special care of Jammu and Kashmir. I wanted tourist destinations to become Covid-free so that people's livelihoods based on tourism could get on track immediately. I initiated the first vaccination drives there," he added.
He said further, "I am happy that Kashmir has voted. BJP is not even in the contest. I am glad that 60% of the population voted for this country."
PM Modi alleges betrayal by the opposition with OBCs alongside 'vote bank politics'.
When asked if PM Modi felt offended by metaphors like 'merchant of death', and 'dictator'? Here's what he said:
Prime Minister Narendra Modi shared his experience of the day when the 2002 Gujarat Assembly elections results were announced. The PM told ABP News, "No one is allowed to call me, on poll results day. I stay on my own. In 2002, when I was CM I was sitting alone in the CM house. I wasn't looking at the results. I didn't pick up calls. I suddenly heard drums and celebrations downstairs."
"Someone came to me around 1.30 pm and congratulated me and said that we had crossed the 2/3rd majority. I asked him to distribute sweets. I decided to go to Keshubhai Patel's [FORMER CM] home and congratulate him first," he added.
PM Modi unveiled his personal sentiments towards opposition leaders in an exclusive interview with ABP News. When asked which leader he likes among the opposition, the PM maintains a diplomatic stance, declining to disclose specific names but acknowledging cordial relations.
Reflecting on his interactions, he mentions reaching out multiple times to former Congress leader Pranab Mukherjee during the 2019 elections. Modi also cites instances such as extending support during Sonia Gandhi's health concerns.
In an Exclusive interview with ABP News, Prime Minister Narendra Modi delivered a message to the Muslim community, emphasising the role of education in fostering progress.
Here's his message to the community:
- Educate children, otherwise, they will fall behind
- Quran in one hand and computer in the other, I have said this earlier
- We are concerned, otherwise, we will lag behind
- It is an important part of the country
- The community is essential for a healthy nation
Prime Minister Narendra Modi reacted to Calcutta High Court's ruling on scrapping of OBC certificates. He told ABP News: "West Bengal Chief Minister opposing the verdict is an insult to the court. Giving reservations to Muslims is an insult to the Constitution. However, it is to be noted that we are not against any religion but reservations should be allocated based on Constitution, not religion."
He further added, "When the debate on reservation took place in the Constituent Assembly - Everyone agreed that reservation cannot be done on the basis of religion. There should not be reservations on the basis of religion The reservation I gave was not based on religion. Everyone accepted our reservation".
"We have divided the country in the name of religion. There should be no reservation now based on religion. This is vote politics. About 77 communities were made OBC in Bengal. All this was done for votes. Everyone in Karnataka was made OBC overnight," the Prime Minister said.

Hitting out at Mamata Banerjee's TMC government in the state, Prime Minister Narendra Modi at a poll rally in Barasat said: "TMC can't tolerate truth. Whoever tries to bring out TMC's truth is targeted by the TMC. A TMC MLA said, "Hinduon ko Bhagirathi mein baha denge." Sadhus of Bengal humbly requested the TMC to rectify their mistake. But TMC started abusing the sadhus. Saints of great institutions like Ramakrishna Mission, ISKCON, Bharat Sevashram Sangha were humiliated. This is being done to appease their vote bank and further the 'Vote Jihad'.."
