PM Modi Exclusive: Ahead of the final phase of the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, Prime Minister Narendra Modi shared his vision for national unity and development in an exclusive interview with ABP Network. Speaking with Suman De of ABP Ananda and Rohit Sawal and Romana Isar Khan of ABP News, PM Modi outlined his plan to establish 'Ekta Malls' in every state capital, among other topics.

Explaining his concept of 'Ekta Malls', PM Modi stated, "I named the statue of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel as the 'Statue of Unity' because the unity of our nation is associated with him. I believe that the spirit of unity should be a continuous process. Our government has allocated funds for the development of states for 50 years. One of my plans is to establish an 'Ekta Mall' in every state capital where products from every Indian state should be available. For instance, if someone in Lucknow wants to buy something from Kerala, they should find it in the Ekta Mall. This will foster a sense of unity."

PM Modi Slams 'Vote Jihad' Call, Questions Parties Over Political Exploitation Of Muslims

Addressing concerns about 'Vote Jihad', PM Modi expressed his worries about divisive politics. "If a maulvi from a madrasa speaks about 'Vote Jihad', we might understand it as an education issue. But when a highly qualified family starts talking about it, it's alarming and indicates a wrong path. It's concerning that the close family of a royal lineage is adopting such a stance."

This remark is in reference to Congress leader Salman Khurshid's niece Maria Alam appealing to Muslim voters to launch a "vote jihad" to remove the Modi government.

He further criticised political exploitation of Muslim communities, "We are leading them down the wrong path for our political gains. Left to their own devices, they would fare better. Many political parties claim to represent Muslims, but which of them has produced a true Muslim leader? Hindu leaders claim to be their guardians, keeping them under their control. The Muslim community needs to reflect on this." ALSO READ | PM Modi Interview: 'Educate Your Kids, Build Your Future' — Modi's Message For Muslims

PM Modi emphasised his government's commitment to non-discriminatory governance. "As a government, my duty is to ensure no discrimination. My goal is 100% saturation in benefits distribution. I have 4 crore homes and 4 crore beneficiaries to provide for without discrimination. Distribution will not be based on caste or religion."

Highlighting his administration's achievements, he added, "100% saturation guarantees social justice, secularism, and transparency. 'Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas' is not just a slogan; it's practiced in everything we do. We have transferred Rs 38 lakh crore directly to beneficiaries."
