PM Modi launches 14,000 projects worth more than Rs 10 lakh crore at the fourth ground breaking ceremony for investment proposals received during the UP Global Investors Summit 2024 in Lucknow.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has arrived in Lucknow. He will visit Indira Gandhi Pratisthan to inaugurate 14000 projects worth ₹10 lakh crore during a digital groundbreaking event.
PM Modi said: "...It is during this period that we have seen Vishwanath Dham flourishing in Kashi. During this period we are witnessing the rejuvenation of Kashi. It is during this period that we have seen the glory of Mahalok of Mahakaal. We have seen the development of Somnath, and the reconstruction of Kedar Valley. We are imbibing the mantra of development as well as heritage. Today, on one hand, our pilgrimage sites are being developed, and on the other hand, hi-tech infrastructure is also being created in the cities. If temples are being built today, new medical colleges are also being built across the country. Today our ancient sculptures are also being brought back from abroad and foreign investment is also coming in record numbers..."

At the foundation stone laying ceremony of Hindu shrine Kalki Dham in Sambhal, Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath said, "In the last 10 years, we have seen a new Bharat... The country is moving ahead on the path of development in the new Bharat..."

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will pay a visit to Uttar Pradesh on Monday, where he will lay the foundation stone for the Shri Kalki Dham Temple in Sambhal district and address a gathering, according to an official statement, news agency PTI reported. The temple is being built by the Shri Kalki Dham Nirman Trust, whose chairman is Acharya Pramod Krishnam, who was expelled from the Congress for "anti-party remarks" days after meeting PM Modi and invited him to lay the foundation stone.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is slated to attend two major events in Uttar Pradesh on Monday. The Prime Minister will lay the foundation stone at Sambhal's Hindu temple Kalki Dham around 10:30 a.m. Later in the day, he will attend a ground-breaking ceremony in Lucknow, unveiling development projects worth over Rs 10 lakh crore.
These initiatives intend to create 33.5 lakh jobs in the state, with a primary concentration on manufacturing, renewable energy, information technology, housing, and real estate.
These efforts stem from Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) inked during the UP Global Investors Summit last year, which witnessed investment bids worth Rs 40 lakh crore.
"As many as 14,000 projects with an estimated investment size of approximately Rs 10 lakh crore are ready for implementation. These projects will help create 33.50 lakh employment opportunities," Uttar Pradesh industrial and infrastructure development minister Nand Gopal Gupta told PTI.
"Of the Rs 10 lakh crore, maximum investments are coming up in sunrise sectors like manufacturing (21 per cent), renewable energy (13 per cent), IT and ITeS (9 per cent), food processing (6 per cent), housing & real estate (6 per cent), hospitality and entertainment (3 per cent), education (3 per cent) etc," he said.
The Prime Minister will begin his trip to Uttar Pradesh in Sambhal. He will attend the city's Shri Kalki Dham Temple opening ceremony, which begins at 10:30 a.m.
The prime minister will also address the audience on the occasion. From Sambhal, PM Modi will go to Lucknow for the fourth groundbreaking ceremony of the UP Global Investors Summit.
Around 1:45 p.m., the prime minister will launch 14,000 projects in Uttar Pradesh valued more than Rs 10 lakh crore at the fourth ground-breaking event for investment proposals submitted during the Uttar Pradesh Global Investors Summit 2023 (UPGIS 2023).
Speaking with media, Acharya Pramod Krishnam said: "It is a matter of pride for us that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be laying the foundation of Shri Kalki Dham today. PM Modi will reach here around 10:25 am. PM Modi will install the main stone in the sanctum sanctorum of the Shri Kalki Dham."
