Prime Minister Narendra Modi unveiled and laid the foundation stone for development projects for over Rs 7,000 crore in Sangareddy, Telangana, on Tuesday. Speaking at the event, PM Modi emphasized the relationship between state and national progress stating his commitment to advancing the development agenda in every region of the country.


Prime Minister Narendra Modi said, "In the last 10 years, the central government has been working to take Telangana to new heights. Yesterday, from Adilabad, I inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of development projects worth more than Rs 56,000 crores. Today, I am in Sangareddy to inaugurate and lay the foundation stone of development projects worth more than Rs 7,000 crores."


"Today, Telangana has got a huge gift in the aviation sector. Civil Aviation Research Organisation (CARO) has been established at Begumpet Airport in Hyderabad today. This will be the first of its kind aviation centre in the country which is built on such modern standards. From this centre, Hyderabad and Telangana will get a new identity, this will open new avenues for the youth of Telangana in the aviation sector, this will provide a platform for research and skill development to aviation startups in the country, and will provide a strong base," the PM said. 







On the development of the state, PM said, "I go with a spirit that states' development is country’s development."


On Tuesday, PM inaugurated multiple projects in sectors including rail, road and natural gas. Modi inaugurated the Civil Aviation Research Organisation (CARO) centre in Hyderabad and laid the foundation for three National Highway projects. The inauguration of the six-lane expansion for 29 km stretch of NH-65 between Pune and Hyderabad marked a significant upgrade connecting to key industrial zones in Telangana, including the Pashamylaram industrial area near Patancheru.


At the event, the Prime Minister also launched the double track and electrification of Sanathnagar-Moula Ali railway line alongside the opening of six new station buildings. Modi initiated the first Multi-Modal Transport Service (MMTS) Train Service running from Ghatkesar to Lingampalli via Moula Ali-Sanathnagar. The train service expanded the popular suburban rail network into new regions within the Hyderabad-Secunderabad metropolitan area for the first time.


Furthermore, the Prime Minister unveiled the Indian Oil Paradip-Hyderabad Product Pipeline. The 1,212-km pipeline, with a capacity of 4.5 MMTPA, is expected to span across Odisha (329 km), Andhra Pradesh (723 km) and Telangana (160 km) and promise to streamline fuel transportation across these states.


Ahead of the event, PM Modi visited the Sri Ujjaini Mahakali Temple in Telangana and offered his morning prayers. Amid tight security, the temple priests presented Modi with a photo frame of the Goddess.
