PM Modi Ram Mandir Visit: Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who is on a visit to Uttar Pradesh ahead of the third phase of Lok Sabha elections, on Sunday performed puja and darshan at the Ram Temple in Ayodhya, which he inaugurated in January this year.


PM Modi's Sunday visit comes ahead of the third phase of polling for the Lok Sabha elections which will take place on May 7 for ten constituencies including Sambhal, Hathras, Agra, Fatehpur Sikri, Firozabad, Mainpuri, Etah, Badaun, Bareilly, and Aonla. Earlier in the day, he addressed a public meeting in Etawah after which he left for Dhaurahara where he addressed another poll rally.

Following the Ram Temple visit, the Prime Minister conducted a mega roadshow in the city which is expected to draw a massive crowd.






PM Modi's roadshow will span approximately 2 kilometres on Ram Path starting from Sugriva Fort and will culminate at Lata Chowk 


The route for the roadshow has been meticulously divided into 40 blocks, with various communities, including Sindhis, Punjabis, farmers, and women in traditional attire, expected to participate. Cultural performance and flower shows are also on the cards during the roadshow. 


In a briefing on the security arrangements ahead of the Prime Minister's visit, Ayodhya's Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Raj Karan Nayyar told news agency ANI, "We are fulfilling all duties based on the security norms of VVIPs. We have divided the area into zones, sectors, and sub-sectors."


"We are preparing ourselves. We have briefed our forces, we are also briefing them at their duty points to make sure they know about their responsibilities at the places where they have been assigned," he said further.
